Remote and distributed teams benefit greatly from the asynchronous nature of HeyUpdate. Here are some tips for dealing with multiple timezones in your team.

Account timezone

We recommend setting the default timezone for your organisation to where you call your home base, or where the majority of your team reside.

  1. Click on "Settings"
  2. Select your timezone and click "Save".

Your personal timezone

If you are in a different timezone to the rest of your team then you can change it just for your user. This will change how dates/times are displayed.

  1. Click on your name in the menu then click "Settings".
  2. Select your timezone and click "Save".
